Physical & Mental Health

Health is something that affects all of us, and for many communities, access to the right information, resources, and support can make a real difference. Through our Physical & Mental Health initiatives, the Slidell Alumnae Chapter works to make health and wellness conversations more open, accessible, and community-centered.

Our work includes health fairs, screenings, wellness education, and programs focused on preventing and managing chronic health conditions. We also make space for conversations around mental health, helping reduce the stigma and reminding our community that taking care of your mental well-being is just as important as taking care of your physical health.

We believe wellness also starts with our own members. Through activities focused on movement, mindfulness, and self-care, we encourage our sorors to make their well-being a priority while continuing to serve others.

Healthy communities start with healthy people, and every part of your well-being matters.
