Service doesn’t stop at our local community. Delta Sigma Theta has a long history of supporting communities around the world through education, health initiatives, disaster relief, and partnerships that address the needs of people beyond our borders.

The Slidell Alumnae Chapter carries that same commitment into our own community. Through collection drives, fundraising efforts, cultural programs, and educational opportunities, we help bring greater awareness to issues affecting communities across the globe and throughout the African diaspora.

Our work gives members and the community opportunities to learn, connect, and take action. Whether we’re supporting an international relief effort or bringing global perspectives to an event here in Slidell, we believe that understanding the world around us makes our community stronger.
